Math: We practiced counting and played some games. We did some number dot to dots.
Language Arts: We did quite a bit of Reading Eggs. We also started the next level of Language Arts, the Kindergarten level. We started on the phonics cards and did the beginning assessments. Mom read us stories. We did the first lesson on our new books after we finished the assessment. I read a book to Mom called Nell and Ed. We played a storytelling game with Story Cubes. We also are in a Storytelling class at our co-op this semester.
Trampoline & Tumbling: Practiced our regular stuff. Also did extra practice on our front somersaults and our backwards jumps with arms up and our cartwheels.
Other: We went to the Butterfly Biosphere at Thanksgiving Point and got to see a lot of butterflies. They also have other creatures there, including scorpions, tarantulas, giant millipedes, and other insects. They also have a fun play area. We also went to the BYU MOA and saw the Windswepts exhibit. We had already gone once with our grandparents but our mom and brothers hadn’t been yet.
