Max Weeks 18-20

Language Arts: We did quite a few lessons on Reading Eggs. We also did lesson 31 in our language arts program with mom. Mom read us stories.

Math: We practiced counting. We also practiced the addition that we have learned. We played math Memory and War with our Tiny Polka Dots math deck.

Tumbling & Trampolining: We practiced our different stretches, rolls, and jumps. One new thing we did was to have our legs on top of a big mat block and walk around the block on our hands. We also did lots of belly flopping jumps on the trampoline which was fun.

Other: We finished up learning about the center of gravity. We talked about the difference between where the center of gravity is on a symmetrical object (like a paper plate) and what happens when you add a weight (we used binder clips) to one side. We went to Idaho with our mom and brother to visit our grandparents and while we were there we went to the Discovery Center of Idaho. It has a lot of fun science activities. We also each had the chance to go skiing with our Dad and start learning the basics. We also rode on the UVX bus to the Provo Library to see the exhibit of National Geographic photographs of the West.

Photograph I liked at the exhibit. This is the Hoover Dam.

Visiting Grandma & Grandpa Wallentine

We stopped on the drive home to see the Malad Gorge. It was neat
but it was SO COLD we couldn't stay out long.

Spidey-Bells!

The copper is not magnetic but is a conductor, so you can make the
disc in the middle float if you do it right. It was really cool.
