Language Arts: We did some practice with letters and writing. Mom read us the picture book How I Became a Pirate and we went to the show based on that book at the SCERA theater. It was fun. The costumes and the music were really good. Mom also started a new family read aloud with us, Ella Enchanted. It is one of our big sister’s favorite books.
Math: We practiced counting. We also did some adding.
I did a bunch of math with twelve cans that were on the table. The different numbers you can add to make 12, what a dozen means, what is half of twelve, whether 12 is even or odd.
Tumbling & Trampolining: We practiced our jumps on the trampoline. We also did our flips and rolls.
Other: We went swimming on Monday and hardly anybody was at the pool It was really fun. We also made some Halloween crafts. For science we made a density jar. We had fun playing with our Dash robot and driving him around. We went to the Scarecrow Festival at Thanksgiving Point and also to the Curiosity Museum.
