This week in science we learned about membranes. A cool experiment they showed us that we want to do is to dissolve the shell of an egg and then you place the egg in either water or corn syrup. Because the membrane of the egg is semipermeable, it allows water to flow in and out of it. Then you can move the egg into the other liquid and the opposite thing will happen. Really cool!
Another neat thing this week was we got a set of 1000 Speks magnets. We have been having fun exploring and experimenting with those. They are really neat but can be tricky to build specific things with. Our mom made the hexagon ball and it took her quite a while because she had to make like 20 hexagons.
