Mali - Week 31

On Monday I sewed a snake. My mom had sewn some for my older siblings years ago and I thought it would be fun to do one. She helped me make a pattern but then I did almost all of the sewing. I made a mistake and cut too close to the seams so I had to patch up a couple of little holes, but I learned some things so next time I won't have as many problems.

In my Toe By Toe I worked on silent e and how it makes the vowel in front of it say its name.

In math we practiced more addition facts to 15. We got to play Spot It one day as part of math which was fun. We learned to play a game called Corners where you get points when you make 5s, 10s, 15s or 20s.

I learned about silent e making the vowel before it say its name. We made some superhero e cards to remember that it makes the other letters feel brave so they can say their names. I practiced silent e nonsense words in my Toe By Toe.

We went to the all abilities playground in Spanish Fork. The zipline there is not very fun but the big seated swings are really fun.

A close up I took of Good Luck bear.

We watched Captain Marvel and I drew this picture of Goose

This one has Nick Fury's hand

This one shows the back of Goose and shows Captain Marvel's hand

Our superhero e's and the other vowels

On St. Patrick's Day I did this sentence in my Explode the Code book so we made the guy
into a leprechaun

The flip I did before we decided to record one was
the best one, of course!
