Max Week 29 3/8/2019

Math: In our Number Fun class we learned about measuring and we practiced using a ruler to measure how many inches something was. We also got to see how many inches we could jump forward. We played addition hopscotch again with the big dice as well. We played DOS at home with our brother, and also Sorry.

Language Arts: We did a lesson in our language arts programs. We did some Reading Eggs on the computer. I read a book from the I See Sam books. I can’t remember the name but it was about Ann the giraffe catching a shell on a hook and an octopus had hidden inside.

Trampoline & Tumbling: We did the usual stuff this week. Practiced different jumps on the  trampoline, did stretches, and practiced cartwheels and rolls on the mats.

Other: We went to the Curiosity Museum again this week We had fun playing in the Water Works area. We really like the tornado cubby that blows on you really hard. For science we made homemade batteries with our MEL science kit and used them to power a small LED light. We watched a Magic School Bus video about electricity. We learned about Egypt. For Daddy Fun Time we went to my dad's new office and built a long exploding sticks chain. There is a video of it on Leif's blog. Mostly him and our dad built it because it is kind of hard to do. It was really fun though.
