Week 25

Mali: This week I wanted to sew something so my mom helped me learn the basics of sewing a monster. I gave him little ribbon arms. 

Max: I had fun playing my brothers in chess. They are both older than me and I lost all the games, but still fun and good practice. 

We are doing four weeks of pottery classes. It has been really fun. It gets you so messy! It also takes more force and strength than we thought it would. Getting the clay centered on the wheel is tougher than you think it will be.

Week 24

Reading a book to Mom. 

 In Geography we started learning the Central American  countries. We learned the locations of and some facts about El Salvador, Guatamala, and Belize. 

We learned all about how well dogs smell and how their sense of smell is so much stronger than humans. The part of our brain that processes smells is so much smaller  than that of a dog. 

Mali: I have been learning my multiplication facts. I am also using Times Tales to help me remember some of the trickier facts. I am doing SpellingYouSee for language arts now. I have read some new books in my reader set. 

Max: I just finished Length in my math lessons. I am reading a series of books I got for Christmas. I have been having fun exploring one of our space apps.
