Mali Week 39 Weekly Report

L. Arts: We practiced our flash cards in a fun way. We went outside and each time we got a card right we got to take a step and bounce a ball. We also did a handwriting practice page.  We played Zingo and What’s Gnu. We read the Bob Book Fun in the Sun and did some workbook pages in our Bob Books workbooks. 


Math:
I practiced counting to 20. I still forget 16 sometimes. We did calendar every night before bed. We watched a video that explained how the cards of Spot It work. They have 57 different pictures. It was interesting but it is hard to explain.

Trampoline & Tumbling: We did stretches. We practiced cartwheels. We did handstands against the wall.

Other: We had fun at the Curiosity Museum. We fed the Koi.

Max - Week 39 Weekly Report

L. Arts: We practiced our flash cards in a fun way. We went outside and each time we got a card right we got to take a step and bounce a ball.  I read the book The Hat and did a Reading Eggspress lesson. My mom got me a prize for finishing Reading Eggs. It is a plush Enderman from Minecraft. I really like him. 

Math:
I practiced my addition facts that equal ten and also what can add to 20. We tossed a ball back and forth as we practiced. I did some math activities on Sumdog.

Trampoline & Tumbling: We did stretches. We practiced cartwheels. We did handstands against the wall.

L. Arts: We played some of our Happy Phonics games this week. They were fun.
We also did some Reading Eggs activities. 


Math: We played Kingdomino. We also practiced counting and reviewed numbers
that add to make 10. 



Trampoline & Tumbling: We did stretches. We practiced our
trampoline jumps. We practiced our rolls. We also had fun doing cartwheels at our
grandparents on Sunday because the weather was really nice.

Mali Week 37 5/3/2019

L. Arts: I did a lesson with my mom. I read the book The Sloth Sniffs. I practiced my flash cards.

Math: I played Kingdomino. I did some counting. We went to our grandparents and picked up pinecones in their yard. Our grandpa said he would pay us 10 cents for each pinecone. Then we counted them with Nana and we picked up 85, so we each got $4.25. They had a bunch of coins in a money jar so we got paid mostly in quarters. I played with the Balance Bears.

Trampoline & Tumbling: We are working on our rolls and jumps. One thing we are practicing is handstands against the wall. They are harder than you would think.

Other: We went to the Curiosity Museum. My mom was drawing some stick figure poses to practice drawing so I did some, too. I also got to go to the MLB Life Science museum with our neighbors.

Max Week 37 5/3/2019

L. Arts: I did a couple of language arts lessons with my mom. I read the books The Fox Begs and The Moth Rocks, as well as a mini book that goes with my lesson. I practiced my flash cards. I finished all the lessons in my level of Reading Eggs. I played a new word game we got for Osmo.

Math: I played Kingdomino. I did some counting. We went to our grandparents and picked up pinecones in their yard. Our grandpa said he would pay us 10 cents for each pinecone. Max Week 36 4/26/2019

L. Arts: I did a Language Arts lesson with Mom. I also did Reading Eggs activities and a lesson.

Math: In our Number Fun class we learned about number pairs that add to make 10. We did some worksheets about the number pairs and also built walls out of math blocks. We did a Musical Numbers where when the music stopped we had to get on a number mat, then our teacher rolled a die and whoever had that number’s “Make 10 buddy” got a piece of candy. We also played Dragonworld and Kingdomino.

Trampoline & Tumbling: We did our regular practice of trampoline jumps and rolls/cartwheels/etc. We also went to the park and practiced our cartwheels there.

Other: We got to go to the Tulip Festival this week. We also went on a field trip to HeeHaws. On Friday our mom took us to Avengers: Infinity War. It was a lot of fun. We had a really full week.

Mali Week 36 4/26/2019

L. Arts: I did a Language Arts lesson with Mom. I did quite a few pages in my kindergarten workbook. I wrote down the letters on the pages I did. I watched a Rusty and Rosy video about songs around the world.

Math: In our Number Fun class we learned about number pairs that add to make 10. We did some worksheets about the number pairs and also built walls out of math blocks. We did a Musical Numbers where when the music stopped we had to get on a number mat, then our teacher rolled a die and whoever had that number’s “Make 10 buddy” got a piece of candy.
